Become the proud owner of this 1:8 scale replica model of the 2011 Red Bull RB7, as driven by four-time World Champion, Sebastian Vettel. This is considered one of the most dominant F1 cars of all time, so will make the perfect addition to any F1 collection.
Specifications:
The RB7 was an evolution of the previous year's Championship-winning RB6. Though newly introduced regulations meant some changes to the car had to be made, such as a ban on double deck diffusers, the technical team, led by Adrian Newey, exploited the pull rod rear suspension that was introduced in 2009.
The pre-season testing held at Valencia and Barcelona set an incredible positive tone for the beginning of the season, with the RB7 consistently setting the pace for others to follow, which only proved to be a sign of the success to follow throughout the season. The RB7 dominated the season opener in Melbourne, with Vettel qualifying on pole by eight tenths of a second and winning the race by twenty-two seconds.
The sheer pace of the RB7 was incredibly impressive, particularly as it didn't use a KERS unit which many of its rivals were using. Of the nineteen races, only in Korea did another car start on pole and yet Vettel remained on the front row. Not only did the car impress with its speed, the car also proved itself to be remarkably reliable - only finishing outside the top five on two occasions which were both accounted for by retirements.
The RB7 stormed the F1 tracks throughout the 2011 season, taking victory in Malaysia, Turkey, Spain, Monaco, Valencia, Belgium, Italy, Singapore, Korea, India and Brazil. The Drivers' Championship was a done deal after the fifteenth race, with the Constructors' title belonging to the team only a week later in Korea.
This fine 1:8 scale model of the Red Bull Racing RB7 has been handcrafted and finished in the Amalgam workshops with the co-operation and assistance of the manufacturer regarding original finishes, materials, archive imagery and drawings. The use of supremely accurate digital scanning of the original car has allowed us to perfectly recreate every detail at scale. Furthermore, it has undergone detailed scrutiny by both engineering and design teams to ensure complete accuracy of representation.
The dominant RB7 was a force to be reckoned with, winning twelve races, earning another fifteen podiums, eighteen pole positions and scoring a whopping total of 650 points, securing both the Constructors' and the Drivers' Championships by a considerable margin. This scale model is a perfect way to commemorate a car that will go down in F1 history for its excellence on track and strong driver's that steered it to victory.
Please note: All auction items will include an Admin Fee of 10% of the winning price which will be added to the total when taken to checkout.

The Auto Bid Extend feature ensures that bidders will always have a chance to challenge bids placed in the final seconds of an auction. When indicated on a listing page, if a bid is placed during the last 5 minutes of an auction, the auction will automatically extend for an additional 5 minutes from the time of the latest bid. The auction will close once all bidding activity has stopped for a period of 5 minutes.
NOTE: Current Bid Amount and Countdown Timer are not "live." Click Refresh to update them or to see if the auction has been automatically extended by a last minute bid.
A straight bid is a one-time amount, that represents the price you are committing to bid. The price that is entered as a straight bid can be any amount that is equal to, or greater than the current amount plus the minimum increment.
This amount will become the new current bid amount of the item (i.e. the item is £100. A straight bid is placed at £200. The item price is now £200).
If there is a maximum bid on the item, the greater of the straight bid and maximum bid will be the highest bid amount.
If a straight bid and a maximum bid are placed at the same value, the bid that is placed earlier will become the winning bid.
This system offers a convenient bidding system option, so you don't have to continuously login to re-bid. When you place a maximum bid, you are entering the highest price you are willing to pay for an item. Your maximum bid is kept confidential until it is exceeded by another bidder.
When a maximum bid is placed, the system will place bids on your behalf at the bid increment amount above the current high bid. The system will bid by the increment to ensure you remain the highest bidder or to meet the reserve price (if applicable), up to your maximum bid amount.
If and only if duplicate maximum bids are entered, the customer who entered the maximum bid first will get priority and will be the winning bidder.
If another bidder places a higher bid above your maximum bid, you will be emailed to login and place another bid.
