The definition of domination and excellence, the Mercedes-AMG F1 W11 EQ Performance challenger rose to glory like its predecessors during the 2020 FIA Formula One World Championship with Lewis Hamilton behind the wheel.
Now you can commemorate the monumental moment that Sir Lewis Hamilton was crowned a seven-time F1 World Champion at the 2020 Turkish Grand Prix, becoming the most successful F1 driver of all time, with an Amalgam model recreating his heroic F1 race car that he drove to victory.
Features:
Celebrate the F1 car that was driven to victory by Lewis Hamilton at the Turkish Grand Prix with this exquisite 1:18 scale model. The model perfectly replicates each intricate detail and recreates the stunning black livery that the team ran in 2020 to symbolise their stand against racism and discrimination. This beautiful scale model is the perfect way to pay homage to the season's Constructors' Champions as well as Lewis Hamilton himself.
Helping Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team claim its seventh consecutive FIA Formula One World Constructors' Championship title, the W11 was the epitome of speed.
What makes the Turkish GP so significant?
The Turkish Grand Prix was not only a successful race for Hamilton, but it was also the race in which he clinched the World Championship Title. He became a seven-time World Champion, only the second driver to do so in Formula 1 history.
Heading to the Turkish Grand Prix - the first race held there since 2011 - Lewis Hamilton stood 85 points clear of his closest competitor, his teammate Valtteri Bottas. Only the pair of them were in contention for the Drivers' World Championship. It was the 14th race of the 2020 season.
Despite Hamilton's points lead, he started the race from sixth place on the grid. It was a wet start to the race, which saw many overtakes on the first lap. At first Hamilton seemed to get a good start, overtaking two cars to go up to third. However after going wide, he then found himself overtaken by the Ferrari of Vettel and the two Red Bulls. On lap 18 a spin from Verstappen meant that Vettel and Hamilton were able to pass him. A slow pitstop for Vettel on lap 34 and a spin from Alex Albon meant Hamilton was then up into the podium positions. A few laps later and Hamilton was closing in on the race leader, Sergio Pérez. And going into turn 12, made the move and overtook him.
The W11's speed meant that Hamilton was able to increase his lead, and by lap 45 he was also more than 15 seconds ahead, with tyres that were 39 laps old. By the final lap, Hamilton was able to glide across the finish line, 31.674 seconds before second place - which was claimed by Pérez, followed by Vettel in third.
This race symbolised a huge milestone in the motorsport world. Schumacher had held his World Championship record for so long - since 2004 - with many believing no one could ever reach it. However Hamilton, on that day in Turkey, was able to match the record, and had earlier in the season surpassed his race win record.
With all the records Hamilton achieved in the W11, the race car is a symbol of speed, success and glory.

The Auto Bid Extend feature ensures that bidders will always have a chance to challenge bids placed in the final seconds of an auction. When indicated on a listing page, if a bid is placed during the last 5 minutes of an auction, the auction will automatically extend for an additional 5 minutes from the time of the latest bid. The auction will close once all bidding activity has stopped for a period of 5 minutes.
NOTE: Current Bid Amount and Countdown Timer are not "live." Click Refresh to update them or to see if the auction has been automatically extended by a last minute bid.
A straight bid is a one-time amount, that represents the price you are committing to bid. The price that is entered as a straight bid can be any amount that is equal to, or greater than the current amount plus the minimum increment.
This amount will become the new current bid amount of the item (i.e. the item is £100. A straight bid is placed at £200. The item price is now £200).
If there is a maximum bid on the item, the greater of the straight bid and maximum bid will be the highest bid amount.
If a straight bid and a maximum bid are placed at the same value, the bid that is placed earlier will become the winning bid.
This system offers a convenient bidding system option, so you don't have to continuously login to re-bid. When you place a maximum bid, you are entering the highest price you are willing to pay for an item. Your maximum bid is kept confidential until it is exceeded by another bidder.
When a maximum bid is placed, the system will place bids on your behalf at the bid increment amount above the current high bid. The system will bid by the increment to ensure you remain the highest bidder or to meet the reserve price (if applicable), up to your maximum bid amount.
If and only if duplicate maximum bids are entered, the customer who entered the maximum bid first will get priority and will be the winning bidder.
If another bidder places a higher bid above your maximum bid, you will be emailed to login and place another bid.
